My Bio

Having worked for 7 years as a manager in multinational retail companies such as Best Buy and Dixons Group, Mine Dedekoca decided to give a different direction to her life by pursuing her dream of entrepreneurship.

Having founded Turkey’s first invitation website, Davetpostası.com in 2014, she started playing an active role in both local and international start-up ecosystems. She has also been providing lean start-up training in many universities and institutions. With the Start-IST brand she founded, she has been organizing events, panels, and workshops on many different subjects targeting entrepreneurs since 2013, as well as advising international companies to help them expand to global markets. She recently hosted the ‘Purpose Party’ webinar series to feature entrepreneur women who make difference in their community.

In 2012, she started representing the world’s largest freelancer marketplace Upwork in Turkey and became the pioneer for the Future of Work concept in the local ecosystem. In the digitalizing world, she gave speeches on many different platforms about the changes in the workplace, and she organized conferences on the Future of the Work, where experts such as Jacob Morgan and Diane Mulcahy also spoke for two consecutive years. She was featured in an article by Jon Younger, Ph.D. on Forbes.com for the training program she designed together with UNHCR to support the inclusion of refugees in the economy through freelancing. Being an expert on The Future of Work and Agile Talent, Dedekoca, has been working with several multinational companies to help them transform their workplace.  Holding a Happiness Coach certificate, she focuses her efforts to scale the purpose-driven business concept to larger communities.
